Our 70% isopropyl alcohol is diluted with purified water at a 3:1 ratio.
It is a potent virucidal agent inactivating all of the enveloped viruses (eg: herpes, vaccinia and influenza virus) and many nonenveloped viruses (eg: adenovirus, enterovirus, rhinovirus and rotaviruses, but not hepatitis A virus HAV or poliovirus). It has also been demonstrated to be effective against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), rotavirus, echovirus and astrovirus (reference: Auburn University Risk Management and Safety, Ethanol/Isopropyl Alcohol FAQs, June 2020).

HOW TO USE:
These are precautionary steps we recommend taking when handling denatured alcohol or isopropyl alcohol with a concentration equal to or greater than 60-70%:
- Use personal protective equipment (impermeable gloves, eye protection, respiratory protection, etc.) to avoid unnecessary exposure;
- Avoid sparks and open flames. Both isopropyl alcohol and denatured alcohol are very flammable;
- Make sure there is plenty of ventilation in the area you’ll be working;
- Avoid inhaling the fumes. If you feel dizzy, sick, or wheezy, move to fresh air;
- Do not ingest or drink either product;
- Do not smoke, eat or drink while working with an isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol product;
- Properly close containers and store them in a cool, well-ventilated place away from other chemicals, sparks, flames and excessive heat.
